The churches in Bogata are majestic and come in every shape, design and color. One famous church near the Presidential Palace is even called the "Pajama Church " because of its stripes. But the "church" that caught my attention is no longer a church. In 1945, the then president turned it into a prison where he had his polical opponents tortured until they confessed their crimes. After he left office, the building remained empty for a long time until a developer turned it into luxury apartments. Truly not the residence for the superstitious or those with an active imagination. ("Did you hear something ?")
